defending the faith:
We live in a post-Christian culture in which many people no longer acknowledge the reality of absolute truth or the authority of the Bible. But unfortunately, most Christians have only a superficial knowledge and understanding of the factual and rational bases for the Christian faith, and are therefore incapable of handling tough questions and the challenges of skeptics.  In order to understand the Christian faith in more depth and present an effective testimony in the midst of our increasingly skeptical and pluralistic culture, Christians need to be prepared to respond intelligently and lovingly to the many popular misconceptions and challenges to our faith by atheists, cultists, New Agers, and people of other religions. These classes can prepare you to meet that challenge.
