Taste of Perimeter: |
As you may have noticed, Perimeter's a big place - a really big place. That's why we created Taste of Perimeter. It’s a fun, low-key evening that provides your family with an easy way to investigate Perimeter Church and discover a place to meet people, embark on or grow in your spiritual journey and answer the call of your heart to serve your community.
Taste of Perimeter offers you a sample of how Perimeter works through children in our KidsQuest ministry, youth in The Bricks Student Center and adults to prepare hearts of all ages to serve our community. Through the telling of the Perimeter Story by our lead teaching pastor, Randy Pope, you’ll get a front-row seat in learning how Perimeter got its start. Our hope is that this first taste will whet your appetite to get connected at Perimeter through our Inquirer’s Seminar, where you’ll learn a lot more about how and why we do what we do.

who should attend: |
Taste of Perimeter is for visitors - whether you've come to one service or been attending here for years. It's designed for those in our community who are curious to know more about the ministry of Perimeter. If you are wondering whether Perimeter might be your church home, Taste of Perimeter is the place to start. If you're a member of Perimeter Church, Taste is also for you; it's your opportunity to introduce people where you live, work and play to the heart of Perimeter. So come on out and bring your friends - let them learn what we're doing here on campus, as well as in the community and around the world. |

what it's all about: |
Taste of Perimeter is all about introducing you to the heart of Perimeter Church, letting you hear our story and sample a few of our ministries to get a taste of how we’re impacting our community – in our own backyard, as well as around the world. The evening begins with a covered dish dinner and the telling of the Perimeter Story by our lead teaching pastor, Randy Pope, in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll visit the KIDSTown Theatre for a live production of KidsQuest, our weekend children’s worship. After KIDSTown, we’ll move to The Bricks Student Center, to get a flavor for the youth ministry. You’ll wind down the evening with coffee and dessert as Randy concludes the church’s story. Our goal is to create an evening full of food, fellowship and information – an evening that shares the heart of Perimeter with others who might want to prepare their hearts to serve the community, as well. (Did we mention there would be good food?)
Taste of Perimeter registration begins at 4:30pm. The program begins at 5:00 PM and ends at 7:30 PM.
Please bring two dishes: a main dish and either a vegetable or salad to share. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
A children's program is available for infants through 6th grade, advance reservations are required. If you have children aged newborn-kindergarten, please feed newborns and infants prior to arrival. Dinner will be provided for ages 2 and up.
If you have children in 1st – 6thgrade, they will need to wear casual clothes and non-marking tennis shoes to enjoy the children’s program. Dinner will be provided.
