The Stephen Ministry is an extension of the caring atmosphere here at Perimeter Church. This ministry utilizes well-trained lay men and women who provide individuals in our congregation and community with confidential, one-to-one distinctively Christian care and support when they are experiencing any number of life's difficult circumstances. Everyone needs support and encouragement from time to time.
Stephen Ministers provide support for many kinds of needs including but not limited to:
- job crisis
- birth, adoption
- hospitalization
- marital trials, separation, divorce
- spiritual crisis
- terminal illness
- disabilities
- grief from loss
- prisoners, families of
- stressful life situations
- need of a Christian friend
- homebound/elderly |

As a Stephen Minister, you will have an opportunity to serve those who are going through a difficult time in their life. Do you have a heart of mercy, encouragement, faith or teaching? Spiritual gifts are gifts to give away. God gives them to us and we use them to serve others. Through one-to-one, confidential, caring relationships, those going through a difficult time receive the love and care they need.
