Hello!
Ever since I was in tenth grade, it has been my dream to go to Ireland with a “Go Journey” group through Perimeter Church, where I am a member. After waiting and praying for the last five years, I feel that God is now calling me to go to Dublin, Ireland, on a trip that goes from October 25 through November 3, and I am super excited! Our team will be partnering with “Serve Our Sports Across Ireland,” serving in the community of Ballymun, which is one of the most disadvantaged areas of Dublin. We will be helping with a week-long day camp (including sports, dance, and arts & crafts) for 120 - 150 young people, while also sharing the gospel with them. I’m praying that I will have a chance to learn about the culture and people of Ireland while helping these children learn about God's word.
In order to be able to go, each of us as team members is responsible to raise $2,300.00. If you are interested in supporting me, you may use the enclosed response card to indicate how you would like to do that. If you want to donate online using a credit card, please visit www.goperimeter.org and in the lower right-hand corner, please type in “Wheless.” Donations are fully tax-deductible and should be made payable to Perimeter Church, which is training and sending this team. It is also requested that donations to the team be over and above your regular tithes and offerings to your local church. If you would like to be a part of our prayer team, please indicate that on the card, as well.
If I raise more than 100% of the cost, the additional funds will be allocated to the team fund. If more is raised than is needed for the team fund, the money will be used at the discretion of the Global Outreach Ministry Team. Thank you for considering being a part of this missions effort!
