JNY Tanzania VBS/Family| 6/4/2020

Vacation Bible School as you have never seen it!!! Come and participate in bringing Jesus to almost 1000 children in and around the village of Karansi, Tanzania. This is a physically demanding trip requiring high energy and a love for children. It is a great opportunity for families who wish to serve on a mission together. Children 10 and up are welcome to travel with their parents. Children 13 and up may be allowed to travel with an adult who is not their parent (e.g. the parent of a friend who is going). You will depart on Thursday, arriving in Tanzania on Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday will be spent preparing for the week, visiting sponsored children, and attending worship at the local church. Your week begins bright and early Monday morning and doesn’t stop until Friday afternoon! Happy exhaustion and joyful hearts will rule the day! Each evening around the dinner table you will have the chance to share your experiences of the day – both high points and struggles – and pray with one another. Each day will be another opportunity to build relationship with the children of the community and the school as you share the Good News of Jesus with them. Saturday will afford opportunity for shopping and a fun lunch prior to heading to the safari lodge. After a relaxing evening watching the sunset over the African savanna, you will awaken early Sunday for your time in the safari park. Your safari driver will take you directly to the airport from safari. This is a brand-new part of a trip for 2020, birthed out of the desire to see marriages and families of the village transformed by the love of Jesus. Our desire is to bring biblical truth regarding God’s plan for marriages and families while still respecting their culture. The seminars and activities will be held off the campus of Siha Leadership Academy.
