Jul 1, 2017 - Jul 10, 2017

This team gets an exciting opportunity to help young church planters minister in potential neighborhoods where they would like to plant churches.

We will assist the church planters by canvasing various neighborhoods to ask questions of the residents about their experience with church, God, and religion. Do they believe? What do they believe? Do they attend a church? Why do they attend church? Why don't they attend? This will help the church planters to better understand the people in the neighborhood and how to meet their spiritual needs.

We will also spend a day this week walking through these same neighborhoods on a guided prayer walk, praying for the residents and the church planters who will be ministering to them in the future.

Since this week the US will be celebrating it's birthday...the team will also host a block party in the neighborhood to celebrate July 4th! Strange, we know, but the Polish people love to celebrate with us. The team members will get to go into the homes of our hosts and cook with them in their kitchen in preparation for the block party and get some great bonding time in.

And of course, we will spend some time learning and understanding the culture of our Polish friends by going to the death camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau. Pray for the team during this day. This is a difficult historical/cultural experience.
