Our team will be helping in an orphanage for at risk infants. We will work together to give respite to the workers at the orphanage who get to see their families only a few times a year.
While we are there we will do everything from cleaning bottles to cleaning floors, simple tasks for the infants like feeding them, changing them, and washing their laundry. We'll prepare meals and mop floors. Some on the team who are skilled in the medical field will actually do more complex tasks like cleaning colostomy bags and trach tube, and provide for various other needs. We will love the babies by caring for all of their physical and emotional needs and care for the workers by giving them a much deserved break.
Some on the team will take the day shift and others will take the night shift. The team will work around the clock to care for the babies and the facility, just as the workers do when they are present.
We will love them and serve the least of these.
