The team will provide health screenings, now mandated by the Tanzanian National Health Ministry, for the children from PUNCHMI pre and primary schools, established by Perimeter, in the village of Karansi, Tanzania. The medical personnel will be working with Tanzanian counterparts to diagnose and treat possible medical conditions. Following the school screenings, there will be a medical clinic provided for the widows, staff, and villagers of Karansi. Services will include prescriptions and referrals as necessary. Team members will provide medical care and logistic and administrative services for the medical team. Team members, medical and non-medical, will have the opportunity to share the Gospel with the children and villagers. The importance of being both spiritually and physically healthy will be emphasized to all patients.
