Current Studies

“The Wisdom of God, Seeing Jesus in the Psalms & Wisdom Books”, By Nancy Guthrie Tuesdays, beginning January 7

An in-depth study of the Old Testament Wisdom Literature of the Bible, with the goal of understanding it in the way that Jesus Himself taught the disciples to read and understand the Old Testament: with Him at the center. As we see not only the wise principles for living in these biblical books, but also the wise person they point to, it will help us to understand the person and work of Christ more clearly which will prepare us to worship Him more fully.

“Finding God Faithful, A Study on the Life of Joseph”, by Kelly Minter, Thursdays, beginning April 9

Please check back for more details.

In the midst of hardship, tragedy, and unanswered questions, it’s difficult to glimpse God at work. How do we hold onto our faith during these times? How do we trust God is working all things for our good and His glory? Over 8 sessions, trace the path of Joseph’s life in the Book of Genesis to observe how God’s sovereignty reigns, even in our darkest moments. Learn to recognize when God is working during periods of waiting, trust God’s plan when life doesn’t make sense, and rest in the sufficiency of His presence in every circumstance. His provision is enough, His presence is constant, and His purpose is unstoppable.

“The Promised One ... Seeing Jesus in Genesis” by Nancy Guthrie, beginning Tuesday, January 21

“After the Resurrection, when Jesus used Scripture to explain who He was and why He came, where did He start? In the Old Testament. And this is where the Promised One begins to look for Christ, finding Him in the people, promises and patterns of the Old Testament Scriptures. With contagious passion and theological soundness, Bible teacher Nancy Guthrie shows how the book of Genesis points us to the person of Christ.”

Our study will include ten weeks of guided personal study, relevant video teaching, and thoughtful discussion questions.
