RECENT PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISES FOR DULUTH

city assessment

Impact Duluth conducted a Community Needs Assessment through Perimeter Church members in Duluth as well as friends from local Unite churches. To ensure a comprehensive analysis of the geography and population which calls the City of Duluth and unincorporated Duluth home, the Community Needs Assessment studied the areas which comprise Chattahoochee, Mason, BB Harris, and Chesney Elementary Schools.

The Assessment revealed assets of a vibrant downtown, sense of community, many local businesses, cultural diversity, network of local churches, effective nonprofit charities, and many other facets of the community with which residents have a high-level satisfaction.

Needs were identified particularly in the more urban, unincorporated, and often overlooked Chesney Elementary School area near Gwinnett Place Mall, and many other tangible needs of students, seniors, and others across the whole community.

Impact Duluth has kept Perimeter Church’s focus on making disciples, strengthening families and helping our community flourish at the forefront while analyzing potential ministry targets, and we welcome your involvement in moving from a time of study and prayer to actions in furtherance of the gospel in Duluth in 2021.
