Impact Johns Creek is seeking a volunteer to oversee the Ivy Hall ministry. This person would be responsible for coordinating a Bible study/worship time from 10:30 - 11:00 AM each Thursday. Ivy Hall is located just down the street from Perimeter on 5690 State Bridge Road and it would be a tremendous blessing to our immediate neighbors.

RECENT PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISES FOR JOHNS CREEK

city assessment

Nationwide research has indicated that the majority of the public believes most churches do not care about their community. To the leaders of Perimeter Church, this called for action.

The first phase of Perimeter’s plan addressed the problem with generous giving and service to community ministries. This resulted in Perimeter donating 33% of its annual budget to organizations providing food banks, after-school programs, medical aid, care for those abused sexually, and much, much more.

Yet, generous acts of giving and service needed refinement and this gave birth to City Impact (CI). CI does not reduce the current level of service or giving but expands it to be more focused on cities like Johns Creek where some church members live, work, and play. The key to helping our communities flourish is empowering and supporting the laity of Johns Creek for good works to specifically address the needs of their community.

Research to over 500 citizens, community leaders, and ethnic groups told the CI team how to make Johns Creek a better place to live. The voice of the citizens revealed and was confirmed by city leaders, that much needs to be done to support education, build cross-cultural relationships, and engage more aggressively in efforts to achieve emotional and mental well-being for citizens in spite of the city’s affluence.

Through CI and your support, continued sacrificial service and generosity will be combined with city-specific peace-making efforts based on the needs discovered. Then as we see “God do what only He can do” Johns Creek will be blessed and your joy will be magnified.
