city assessment

The Roswell City Assessment was conducted in the fall and winter of 2019-20.

The assessment reflects our partnership with Hope Roswell resources. Hope Roswell is a coalition of Roswell churches that serve the community through church-specific outreach initiatives and collaboration with local nonprofits that address targeted areas of need in the Roswell community.

Our assessment strategy recognized that Hope Roswell churches, volunteers, and nonprofits are already engaged in ministry outreach and disciple-making. Therefore, our assessment mantra became “partner wherever possible; innovate whenever necessary.” In practice, this means that we will work alongside existing ministry efforts and nonprofit initiatives that promote transformational opportunities for Roswell residents.

Our city assessment identified five significant focus areas. These include:

· Youth Development and Mentoring
· Senior Living Engagement
· Family Health and Transformation
· Homelessness Relief and Assistance
· Human Trafficking

To make this work in a practical sense, our City Impact team seeks five target area leaders. These Perimeter volunteers will connect with nonprofit leaders and churches serving in these areas, develop a simple engagement plan, coach Perimeter volunteers, and monitor/report progress.

To view the complete Assessment Report, contact the team leadership below at ImpactRoswell@perimeter.org.
