Let's Celebrate!

With the ALL IN: Kingdom IMPACT initiative winding down, we want to take this opportunity to highlight some events that are coming up that CELEBRATE the way your ALL IN giving has been impacting individuals, families, and greater Atlanta.

CELEBRATING What God Has Done Through ALL IN!

What if you could be part of a team that:

  • is helping kids improve grades and stay in school?
  • helps food-insecure families access nutritious food like fresh vegetables and fish?
  • aids families transitioning out of homelessness?
  • provides affordable, Christ-centered medical and dental care to the un-insured or under-insured?

Guess what? You already are!

Community Outreach wants you to join them in celebrating many of the things that God has done using your investments in ALL IN: Kingdom IMPACT. Monthly Celebration Tours will give you the opportunity to visit with ministry partners and hear first-hand what they're able to do because you heeded God's call to enable Kingdom Flourishing.

"Fill Ministries will provide a deeper look at the private struggles of the families in our cities suffering from food insecurity and its impact on the health, development, and overall well being of children."
— Debra Potter

If you missed the Celebration Bus when it went to Berkley Lake Elementary School, don't worry...there are more Celebration Tours coming up!

November 16: Celebration Tour to Fill Ministries

On November 16, learn how Fill Ministries was able to build an aquaponic farm to grow nutrient-dense vegetables and fish that are sold to restaurants to make money and donated to families struggling to put good food on their children's tables. You will also get to hear about Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which partners with Fill Ministries to provide beds for kids who don't have one of their own.

December 7: Onsite Celebration Tour with Promise686, Fully Furnished Ministries, and Home Repairs Ministries

For this tour, you don't even have to leave the building! This Celebration Tour will take place at Perimeter Church and is a great option for families who want to include their children! As part of Holiday Serve Day, you can have the opportunity to learn more about three of Perimeter's "home-grown" ministries:

  • Promise686 which works to place foster children into Christian homes temporarily or permanently, through adoption.
  • Fully Furnished Ministries which picks up donated furniture and delivers it to families in need, particularly those transitioning out of homelessness.
  • Home Repairs Ministries which makes critical home repairs for hurting and low-income widows, single mothers, seniors, and people with disabilities.

More Celebration Tours Coming Soon!

January 11 — HomeFirst Gwinnett
February 8 — Rainbow Village
March 14 — Good Samaritan Health Center & Norcross Co-op
April 25 — City of Refuge

All offsite Celebration Tours are family-friendly for children ages 5 and older. (Activity packets will be provided for children who may get a little restless.)

Buses will depart from Perimeter Church’s Atrium at 9:00 AM. During travel time, participants will get to know each other and pray before arriving at the host ministry. While there, you will hear stories and celebrate what God has done and is continuing to do through Perimeter Church's support of these ministries. All tours will return to Perimeter no later than 11:45 AM.

Did You Miss the (First) Bus?

The first Celebration Tour Bus went to Berkeley Lake Elementary back in September. Attendees heard how ministries supported by Perimeter—like Kids Hope USA and Corners Outreach—have impacted BLE students and their families. In an unexpected moment of sharing, Dr. Lesley Pendleton, Principal of the school, explained how mentoring helped her navigate a difficult childhood and gave her the tools for later success. What a God-inspired moment!

Here are a few photos from that inaugural Celebration Tour!
