Marriage Mentoring

Simply put, marriage mentoring is defined as one husband and wife spending a few hours each month with another husband and wife, identifying each spouse's roles in marriage, modeling behaviors and teaching new skills all from a Biblical perspective. It is life on life couple discipleship, measured in time and love that can change a relationship and a family for generations. You can give or receive this gift of discipleship through Marriage Mentors.

To be mentored:
When you contact Erin (link below), she will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet with one of the Marriage Mentor Ministry Coordinators—Joe & Judy Tjoe or Mac & Barbara Kaiser. They will meet with you to assess your needs. Because your trust is important, they will handle your information confidentially. If mentoring is for you, they will connect you with a trained mentor couple to begin working through the Devoted curriculum to learn how to apply the Biblical foundations and the practical tools to help every marriage thrive. Mentoring is designed to benefit every couple—those in crisis as well as those who want to enrich their marriage relationship. A good marriage can be great and a struggling one can be restored, redeemed and enriched. Let marriage mentors help you.

Cost: $200 per couple including an online assessment and all mentoring materials.

To mentor others:
You don't have to be the perfect couple to help another couple thrive. In fact, your past relationship struggles can become your greatest gifts to someone else who is going through the same thing. We will train, encourage and pray for you as you take on this couple to couple ministry. Mentors are not counselors, just couples letting the Holy Spirit work through them as they champion strong, God-honoring marriages. If you feel God's call to enrich or restore marriages, contact Erin (link below). Let us equip you for this life-on-life couple discipleship to transform our community and impact the Kingdom.

Cost: Mentor training is free to all Perimeter Church members or $150 for community couples, which includes an online assessment and all training materials.
