Women's Bible Studies

Who Can Join?

We invite women of all ages and stages. You may be new to the Bible, a seasoned student of Scripture, or anywhere in-between. Perhaps you've attended church for decades, or maybe you've never set foot in a church. We welcome you all!

When Can I Join?

Many studies welcome women at any time throughout the year though some studies have a set curriculum which is best to join at the beginning.

Who Are The Leaders?

All Bible Studies listed are led by trained leaders that provide a safe environment for discussion, fellowship, growth, accountability and prayer.

What Is The Format?

Each group meets weekly, under the direction of a trained leader. Group leaders determine the time and location (either at Perimeter Church or in a member's home). The leader also determines what each group will study based on theological parameters of Perimeter Church.

Children's Programming

For studies that take place at the church, Childcare/Children's Programming is available with pre-registration and a reasonable fee for newborn through five years old on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 AM. Register your children according to which study you would like to attend below.

More than any other person, Paul provides us an example of sold-out servanthood. As you study the Book of Acts and the Letters of Paul, you will be challenged to follow Paul's example just as he followed the example of Christ.

All Christians long to hear the voice of God speaking to them.  But how can you be sure when it is God's Holy Spirit that is speaking directly to you?  Priscilla Shirer leads an in-depth study of the character, language and tone of voice of the Holy Spirit of God.

"When Life and Beliefs Collide" By Carolyn James

Sooner or later, life's difficulties bring every Christian woman to God’s doorstep with questions too personal to ignore. "Why does God let me go through such painful circumstances?" "Why does he seem indifferent to my prayers?" We're tired of spiritual pie in the sky. We want authentic, God-as-he-really-is faith—the kind that holds us together when our world is falling apart and equips us to offer strength and hope to others. When Life and Beliefs Collide raises a long-overdue call for us to think seriously about what we believe about God. With passion, brilliance, and eloquence, Carolyn Curtis James weaves stories of contemporary women with episodes from the life of Mary of Bethany to illustrate the practical benefits of knowing God deeply. Examining the misperceptions and abuses that discourage women from pursuing a deeper understanding of God, this insightful book demonstrates how practical and down to earth knowing God can be.

When: Tuesday, beginning September 13, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Where:  Johns Creek/Cumming area
Leaders: Liz Draper, Betsy Polstra

We also encourage you to consider joining a Women's Discipleship Group!

Different, or the same?
If you are familiar with our Bible study ministry you should know that we are making some exciting changes this year - we are taking a break from weekly large-group gatherings and allowing our individual small groups to branch out on their own. Each group will select its own curriculum based on it's missional focus and the needs of group members. We hope the result will be a study that impacts your life in a deeply meaningful way.

Engaging the heart, not just the mind
Sometimes people think of "Bible Study" as a purely intellectual exercise. They think that the goal is to examine and debate Scripture just for academic reasons. While some Bible studies may work that way, ours is very different. True, they will stretch your mind, as you consider the profound truths of God. But it is not just intellectual. Our desire is to grasp God's love and rest in it so completely, that our hearts become more surrendered to Him.
