Women's Bible Studies

Who Can Join?

We invite women of all ages and stages. You may be new to the Bible, a seasoned student of Scripture, or anywhere in-between. Perhaps you've attended church for decades, or maybe you've never set foot in a church. We welcome you all!

When Can I Join?

Many studies welcome women at any time throughout the year though some studies have a set curriculum which is best to join at the beginning.

Who Are The Leaders?

All Bible Studies listed are led by trained leaders that provide a safe environment for discussion, fellowship, growth, accountability and prayer.

What Is The Format?

Each group meets weekly, under the direction of a trained leader. Group leaders determine the time and location (either at Perimeter Church or in a member's home). The leader also determines what each group will study based on theological parameters of Perimeter Church.

Children's Programming

For studies that take place at the church, Childcare/Children's Programming is available with pre-registration and a reasonable fee for newborn through five years old on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 AM. Register your children according to which study you would like to attend below.

What Studies Are Available?

"All Things New" by Kelly Minter

Join us for an 8 session study of 2nd Corinthians.

Kelly Minter will lead you through the Letter of 2 Corinthians exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come.

When: Tuesday, beginning January 10, 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Where: Perimeter Church, C21

Leader: Sally Sheffield

“Entrusted” by Beth Moore

Join us for a 6 session study of 2 Timothy.

Final words can be compelling.  In Paul’s final letter, he charged Timothy, his beloved son in the faith, to not be ashamed to fulfill God’s call on his life.  In this study, Beth Moore will challenge you to do the same.  God has a plan for you.  He has entrusted you with the gospel message and has gifted you to carry it to the furthest reaches of this planet.  He’s calling you to be His mighty servant to carry out His mission.

When: Thursday, beginning January 12, 12:30 - 2:30 PM

Where: Perimeter Church, C11

Leader: Laura Madden

"What Love Is" by Kelly Minter

Join us for a 7 session study of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd John as we’re encouraged to remain faithful to the truth.

You will be challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness.

When: Tuesday, beginning January 10, 9:30-11:30

Where: Perimeter Church, Uptown Auditorium

Leader: Gloria Northern

“Life Ready Woman, Thriving in a “do-it-all world” by Shaunti Feldhahn and Robert Lewis

Join us for an 8 session study as we discover the difference between “doing it all” and “doing what matters”.

Whether a stay at home; or working mom, an airplane-hopping executive, an empty-nester caring for multiple generations or a single juggling high demands of career and personal life, today’s fast-paced modern world leaves women gasping for balance. Thankfully, God has given us exactly that timeless, unchanging guidance for how to find peace, clarity, and God’s best for our lives once we know where to look! This study reveals a profound biblical roadmap for how each of us can find the abundant life we are longing for, rather than the stressful, torn, how-do-I-balance-it-all life we often feel like we are trying to keep up with today.

When: Tuesday, beginning January 17, 9:30-11:30

Where:  Perimeter Church, Fellowship Hall E-F

Leader: Eva Buckingham

We also encourage you to consider joining a Women's Discipleship Group!

Engaging the heart, not just the mind
Sometimes people think of "Bible Study" as a purely intellectual exercise. They think that the goal is to examine and debate Scripture just for academic reasons. While some Bible studies may work that way, ours is very different. True, they will stretch your mind, as you consider the profound truths of God. But it is not just intellectual. Our desire is to grasp God's love and rest in it so completely, that our hearts become more surrendered to Him.
