Nancy Pearcey is a best-selling author and a renowned thinker and scholar in Christian cultural apologetics. A former agnostic, she has been hailed as “America’s preeminent evangelical Protestant female intellectual.”

Her new book, Love Thy Body, and her Areopagus Forum presentations address a broad range of issues related to the sexual revolution that are creating significant questions in American society including the LGBTQ movement, the 'hook-up' culture, and abortion-on-demand. As one reviewer notes: “Writing with both deep compassion and clear thinking, Nancy Pearcey helps us to better understand the worldview that lies behind the huge cultural shifts we have recently experienced."

Pearcey is a fellow of the Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture, and over the course of her career she has worked as the Francis Schaeffer Scholar at the World Journalism Institute, a columnist for Human Events magazine, and a regular contributor to World magazine. Currently, she is a Scholar-in-Residence at Houston Baptist University and editor of The Pearcey Report.

The Areopagus Forum series features lectures, debates and other presentations by outstanding Christian scholars, thinkers and activists, along with reviews and critiques of significant books and films. Forums often include a formal presentation and an extended Q&A session, and offer Christians a unique opportunity to interact with some of the great minds in contemporary Christianity.

Areopagus Forums cover a wide range of topics including current events, history, science, apologetics, significant books and films, cultural and religious trends, and other issues in contemporary life that informed Christians should know.
