What CAN'T my Sixth Grader bring?
    • Portable electronics (iPod, Mp3 player, DS, PSP, DVD player, etc.)
    • Cell phone? We ask that you allow your student a true retreat experience by leaving his/her cell phone at home. You will find several contact numbers below should you need to get in immediate contact with your student. You may also obtain the cell number of your student's discipleship leader and/or parent chaperone. However, if you feel it imperative to send your student with a cell phone, we will ask discipleship leaders and/or parent chaperones to hold it for your student. Students will not be permitted to carry their phones with them.

How will my Sixth Grader get to the retreat?

Our discipleship leaders and parent chaperones provide transportation to/from the retreat in Cleveland, GA using their personal vehicles.

All drivers are at least 25 years old and covered by insurance.

Each sixth grader will be assigned to a vehicle at the point of check-in on Friday, April 21.

What time do I need to drop off my Sixth Grader on Friday, April 21, for the retreat?

6:00 PM. Please check-in at the Midtown Auditorium on the main floor of KIDS Town (Building C). We will conduct a brief informational meeting and depart for Woodlands Camp promptly at 6:45 PM.

Any sixth grader dropped off past 6:45 PM will need to find his/her own transportation to Woodlands Camp.

Does my Sixth Grader need to eat dinner on Friday before leaving for the retreat?

Yes.  We will not stop for dinner en route to Woodlands Camp.

What time do I pick up my Sixth Grader after the retreat?

We will return to the church at 12:00 PM on Sunday. You can meet your sixth grade outside the Offices/Building C.

Can my Sixth Grader bring friends who do not attend Perimeter Church and/or are not involved in Discipleship?

Yes. All sixth graders are welcomed to attend. Please have the parents of your sixth grader's friend indicate your sixth grader's name in the "Friend of" field on the registration form to ensure they are grouped together.  Please remember that space is limited!  Register early to ensure your spot.

When is the remaining balance due for the retreat?

All final payments must be received by Friday, April 21.
    $135 fee - ($35 non-refundable deposit) = $100 balance due.

If my Sixth Grader has a conflict and cannot stay for the entire weekend, can he/she come for part of the weekend?

We really encourage parents to clear the calendar this weekend for their sixth grader so that he/she can enjoy the entire experience. However, if that is not possible, your sixth grader can come to any part of the weekend he/she can. It will be the parent's responsibility to transport their sixth grader to/from Woodlands Camp if there are conflicts in schedule that prohibit your sixth grader from staying the entire weekend. If you wish to bring your child up later or pick him/her up early, directions can be obtained from Jeremy or Joy. There are no cost deductions for a student who only comes part of the weekend.
