Welcome to Perimeter
We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our web site and we hope you will come and visit us in person as well. As you explore our site you'll notice that we have a lot to offer the families and individuals in our community, including things for children of all ages as well as adults, no matter what their age or stage of life (single, married, divorced, widowed, whatever). Perimeter is a truly a come as you are church. It's a safe place to explore the truths of Christianity and it's a great place to experience growth and community.
Our services feature a blend of traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs, and will often feature drama, personal testimonies, and dance - providing a dynamic and impacting time of worship. We were all created to worship and at Perimeter Church our desire is to help you worship well.

You don't have to be an expert. Each member of our Children's Ministry team has one thing in common: a passion for children. If you have a heart to love God and a desire to work with children, then you have the two basic ingredients necessary to become a leader in children's ministry. You do not need all the time in the world. You can successfully minister to children with a minimal time commitment. We have many ways that you can minister to children in a time frame that will work for you! During Sunday Morning services, in less than two hours each week, you will be able to form relationships with children and their parents that will communicate love and value, not only from you, but also from God. We look forward to getting to know you and to helping you find where God has shaped you to be. It will be exciting to watch God at work in you and through you as you minister to the children of Perimeter.
Puppeteer: Through puppetry, we provide a variety of ways to capture the attention of children and deliver the gospel message in ways that will be unforgettable. No experience necessary.
Special Needs Buddy: Work one-on-one in the classroom with kids who need a little extra TLC and assistance on Sunday mornings. Training will be provided.
Hall Monitor: The responsibility of these people will be to man the Downtown hallways during check-in and service hours. Sole purpose is to be the eyes and ears of Downtown and provide protection and security to the children, families and volunteers, including partnering with Coordinator in the event of an emergency or evacuation.
Concierges: Welcome and assist families in the initial check-in and security into the Downtown hallways.
Worship Music Leaders and Team: Lead children in worship that coincides with the lesson and theme song for that Sunday. Worship is held in the Downtown Music room for three to five year olds and in individual classrooms for the one and two year olds. Songs at this level are brief and repetitive and a CD player is used. Music provided.
Large Group Leader: Must be a church member or in membership process and serve on a rotation. Leader is responsible for teaching the Bible lesson to combined groups of preschoolers.
Classroom Leaders: Must be a church member or in membership process and serve on a month on/month off rotation. Leader is responsible for the Bible lessons, overall activities and care of the children within their room.
