Get Involved Norcross

Norcross Prayer: February 12

Please join us as we pray for our community and direction/blessings for Impact Norcross. We will also use this time to also discuss Impact Norcross activities and initiatives. (Children are welcome.) If you cannot join us, please share any prayer concerns that you would like for us to lift up during our gathering. We'll start at 3:45 PM.

Promise686 - Meals for Foster Families
The mission of Promise686 is to mobilize and serve churches and families to meet the needs of orphans and foster children in our community. Volunteers are needed to help make meals and then delivery to our Perimeter foster families.
Boy With A Ball | Love your City

Love Your City takes place every Saturday from 11 to 1:30. We meet at the Nett Church off Jimmy Carter Blvd. to welcome and brief volunteers, and then go over to the community (Sarah Court NW, Norcross, GA 30093) at 11:45 AM to visit with families and tutor the young people.

Afterward, all volunteers are welcome to join us for lunch at Plaza Las Americas- this is not mandatory, though certainly fun. Contact Josiah Johnson at to learn more.

Help Distribute Free Meals
In partnership with Lettum Eat! Inc., the Gwinnett Library System will continue to offer free meals  on Thursdays at the Norcross branch. Volunteers are needed to help with their drive-through meal distribution at the Norcross Branch at 11:00 AM. Contact the Norcross Library at 770-978-5154 or email Fenise Boss from the library at
Norcross Library Food Pantry
The Norcross branch of Gwinnett County Public Libraries is starting a food pantry in their library.  Many hands are needed to help collect food, replenish the shelves and lift up the prayer requests for their clients.  If you are interested in being a part of this committee or in leaning more about the food pantry, please call Carolee at 404-520-5054.
Connecting with Our Schools
We were excited to begin making connections with our schools in the Norcross area last year. Working with Community Outreach, we have been able to provide "thank you" bags to Summerour bus drivers and holiday lunches to Summerour teachers and staff. We look forward to making contact with our many other schools during the coming year. If you are interested in joining this effort or have existing connections, please reach out to Julie Rutkowski, our education lead.
Education Coach
You will assist Amy Sol and her crew with the arrival, homework time, and activities for 30-40
students who participate in the after-school program. Tutors and activity leaders will be
present. Your purpose is to help with logistics and engage with students during their free time.
You will not be asked to give homework assistance or lead any of the activities. (Unless you
have a skill or talent that you would like to let Amy know about ahead of time.)
