Welcome to Perimeter
We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our web site and we hope you will come and visit us in person as well. As you explore our site you'll notice that we have a lot to offer the families and individuals in our community, including things for children of all ages as well as adults, no matter what their age or stage of life (single, married, divorced, widowed, whatever). Perimeter is a truly a come as you are church. It's a safe place to explore the truths of Christianity and it's a great place to experience growth and community.
Our services feature a blend of traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs, and will often feature drama, personal testimonies, and dance - providing a dynamic and impacting time of worship. We were all created to worship and at Perimeter Church our desire is to help you worship well.

If you've been around Perimeter for any amount of time, you're probably aware of the high value we place on "life on life" relationships, both in discipleship and in our ministries of serving and outreach. Misconceptions about mentoring include a misbelief that, in order to be a mentor, you need to "have it all together" and be the "all-knowing source of wisdom and life experience". Well, none of that is true! The reality is that, in order to be a mentor, you just need to be willing to take the time to be a friend, to care about, share your life experiences with, and to encourage another person.
Listed below are several opportunities to invest in the life of someone else as a friend (i.e. mentor) through life on life relationships.
"A little boy without a positive adult male role model is like an explorer without a compass." - Newsweek magazine. The same can be said of little girls. There are lots of children in our local public elementary schools, who are struggling academically and/or emotionally (often because of an absent parent or other challenges at home). The future of these kids can be greatly impacted by having a positive adult role model just like you. In just 30-60 minutes each week during school, you can make a difference, just by being a friend. In addition, 30% of 3rd graders in metro Atlanta are not up to grade in their reading comprehension, which directly correlates to the 30% of students who do not graduate from high school. School principals have confirmed their belief that if we can help improve 3rd grade reading comprehension, then the result will also be an increase in high school graduation rates.
Perimeter Church has partnered with Kids Hope USA & public elementary schools throughout our communities to match up mentors and tutors from our church with children in their schools. For more information on how you can be involved, click here or contact Tammy Lopez at 678.405.2292.
Perimeter Church offers a nine-week premarital seminar, called RightStart, for engaged couples and couples considering marriage. One of the greatest benefits of the RightStart experience is being connected with a mentor couple who will walk alongside, support, encourage, listen to, share their marriage experiences, and provide honest feedback with the participating couple. Mentor couples must be married for at least five years and have completed the mentor couples training. For more information on becoming a mentor couple or participating in the RightStart seminar, click here or contact Julia Wreyford at 678.405.2198.
Simply put, marriage mentoring is defined as one husband and wife spending a few hours each month with another husband and wife, identifying each spouse's roles in marriage, modeling behaviors and teaching new skills all from a Biblical perspective. It is life on life couple discipleship, measured in time and love that can change a relationship and a family for generations. You can give or receive this gift of discipleship through Marriage Mentors. For more information, click here or contact Erin Grass at 678.405.2209.
Perimeter's Women's Ministry is excited to offer a Women's Mentoring Program. Following the Titus 2 model of older women mentoring younger women, we are looking for women of all ages to participate. What is a mentor? A mentor is a person who has followed Christ longer than you have and is willing to share her life lessons. A mentor acts as a trusted counselor or guide, a teacher or coach.
