When you can get 700 middle and high school students to be excited about the same thing, that's a pretty good sign that you're doing something right. Rush was in person and on fire! Last year, we were unable to accommodate groups from other churches on campus, but some students were able to participate virtually. However, this year six other churches joined our Perimeter students in this entirely student-led youth conference! 

Each summer thousands of kids come to Perimeter to experience Camp All-American. This July, we invited those campers and their families to CAA Sunday at Perimeter—and 500 newcomers came! What an honor it was for our church family to worship with them and run around campus as part of the Wild Goose Chase Scavenger Hunt. We’re so excited to show newcomers what makes Perimeter such a great church home!

As a parent, what could be better than having kids who can't wait to get to church? Not much. That's why Perimeter invests so much in making sure KidsQuest is the most fun, most engaging, most relevant place for kids to learn how much they are loved and treasured by God! KidsQuest is back in person and better than ever, welcoming Perimeter kids and more than 100 visitors each month—which is a record! Invite a kid and experience KidsQuest for yourself. 

In June, 68 middle-school students worked side-by-side serving the communities where they live. The theme for this year’s Jhi Missions Week was “Life Poured Out.” Students served with ministry partners like Corners Outreach, Upper 90 Soccer Ministry, and the Fill Ministries Aquaponic Farm. 

This summer, City Impact teams are meeting to pray for their communities and build community with neighbors. In addition, many are serving in their communities this summer.

Some struggles would be difficult to deal with in a normal year. But in the midst of a pandemic, some challenges seem insurmountable. That's what happened when heavy rains filled dams in two districts of central India in late August 2020. In the middle of the night, the floodgates were opened—and the resulting waters washed away 40 villages with next to no warning.

Perimeter has supported our Christian ministry partners in India for more than 20 years through funding, leadership training, and life-on-life missional discipleship. Our Indian ministry partners were the first ones on the scene to assist the thousands of villagers who lost their homes and everything they owned in the blink of an eye. They distributed food, clothing, and even built homes for many families who lost theirs. They even bought new nets for fishermen so that they could go back to work to provide for their families.

But just as important, they provided hope that the villagers were not forgotten.
