VISION STATEMENT

PURPOSE:

(Why do we exist?)
To present Christ-centered community where people come to know the true and living God in a personal way.

VISION:

(What are we trying to accomplish?)

To glorify God as a community of mature and equipped believers for the sake of family, community, and global transformation.

MISSION:

(How do we plan to accomplish our Vision?)
By believing God. By believing God is faithful to raise up "workers for the harvest"  in our community who, in the power of the Holy Spirit, lead lost souls to eternal life in Jesus Christ.

By "laying aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and ... run with endurance the race that is set before us", we compassionately reach out to lost and unchurched people, sponsoring them into the life or Perimeter Church.

By "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author of the perfecter of  faith", we give ourselves  away and labor in the lives of a few, engage in  "life on life" reproducing discipleship through  Perimeter Church's Discipleship and help to create a  "Culture of Discipleship" at Perimeter Church.

By adopting a Community Outreach Ministry team to channel service and ministry to the least in obedience to Jesus' call to mission in John 20:21, "Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me I also send you".

By honoring the Great Commission to, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the mane of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," we participate in world missions through short-term Global outreach GO journeys.

By becoming leaders and mentors to the younger generation in the church particularly young families.

CORE VALUES:

(What is most important to us?)
"Who We are" Values
Authentic People - (people) are weary of words, but they are starving for authenticity. [1]
Experienced People - (people) are not particularly interested in our ideas; they are interested in our experiences. [2]
People with Convictions - People are not searching for theories, but for convictions.
Real people - (people) want to penetrate our rhetoric in order to  discover the reality of our lives.
