What Studies Are Available?

'The Quest' by Beth Moore

Fridays, starting Sep 7 | 12:30 - 3:00 PM

Perimeter Church, C21

A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. The Bible does not shy away from such an invite. Over and over we see the people of God asking questions of their Creator. We also see the God of the universe asking questions of His creation.

The Quest is a challenge to accept the invitation. In this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father.

'No Other Gods' by Kelly Minter

Tuesdays, starting Sep 11 | 9:30 - 11:30 AM

Perimeter Church, Uptown Auditorium

Often, idols are obvious-money, power, fame. But subtler idols can sometimes take the form of loved ones, Instagrammable interiors, and busy seasons of work, motherhood, or ministry. But if your heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, you'e missing the unrivaled joy and adventure of Jesus being your heart's ultimate treasure.

In this eight-session, learn to identify the functional gods you may be unknowingly serving and the lies they tell. As you dethrone your modern-day idols, you'll be set free for the deeper, more abundant life Jesus came to give you-discovering that Jesus can do what no other god can.

'Unhitching from the Crazy Train' by Julie Sparkman

Tuesdays, starting Sep 11 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Perimeter Church, C21

You have a picture of how life should go. We all do. The dream job. Close friendships. Loving, grateful children. A perfect marriage. But more often than not, life doesn't go according to plan. So we corral and control, determined to make our picture come true. Our emotional, spiritual, and even physical well-being are taken for a crazy ride as our very sanity becomes dependent on how closely reality matches our expectations.

Jesus says, 'Come to Me, and I will give you rest.'

Join us for this eight-week study as we explore Jesus' gentle yet costly invitation to true rest - rest that is dependent on the finished work of a Savior who will never leave us alone.

A Disciple's Life

Monday Nights, starting Sep 24 | 6:45 - 8:30 PM

the Shed

This ten-week study will explore what it looks like to follow Jesus. In the community of other women, we will learn how to spend personal time in God's Word, how to prioritize the Lord in our lives, and discover His purpose for us. We hope this study will deepen your relationship with Christ and help equip you to continue growing for years to come!

We also encourage you to consider joining a Women's Discipleship Group!

Engaging the heart, not just the mind
Sometimes people think of "Bible Study" as a purely intellectual exercise. They think that the goal is to examine and debate Scripture just for academic reasons. While some Bible studies may work that way, ours is very different. True, they will stretch your mind, as you consider the profound truths of God. But it is not just intellectual. Our desire is to grasp God's love and rest in it so completely, that our hearts become more surrendered to Him.
