Welcome to Perimeter
We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our web site and we hope you will come and visit us in person as well. As you explore our site you'll notice that we have a lot to offer the families and individuals in our community, including things for children of all ages as well as adults, no matter what their age or stage of life (single, married, divorced, widowed, whatever). Perimeter is a truly a come as you are church. It's a safe place to explore the truths of Christianity and it's a great place to experience growth and community.
Our services feature a blend of traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs, and will often feature drama, personal testimonies, and dance - providing a dynamic and impacting time of worship. We were all created to worship and at Perimeter Church our desire is to help you worship well.

Below are some opportunities to build you up, help you better love on and lead others, and equip you to serve with your heads, hearts, and hands.
Jesus had a small group of students (disciples) that he trained so that one day they each would become disciple-makers - have their own disciples. The purpose was for the leader to multiply disciples. In the day, Jesus' last words: Go make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).
Come and sit at His feet as Monte Starkes walks us through the scriptures to trace the One who modeled for us.
Why did Jesus select the men He did?
Why did He not select others?
How did He select them?
How can we select people today, like Jesus did then?
This is probably the most important aspect of discipling today. How do we select the "right" people? We will look at Jesus in the Scriptures.
What are we multiplying?
How and when should we multiply?
How to prepare someone to multiply?
When is the wrong time to multiply?
Jesus has commanded us to invest in others, to multiply so that they may go and do likewise. This is how we participate in advancing his Kingdom.
How often have you been in your group when someone deeply shares, but you're just not sure where to go with it? Maybe you sense there's more "underneath"?
Do you just stop and pray?
Do you just move on?
Proverbs 20:5 - The purpose in a man's heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.
How .. do we draw out understanding when men are in the midst of struggles and issues?
Throughout the year we offer a workshop on pursuing the heart. This workshop will model skills and questions that, with the Spirit's help, can reveal the underlying issue or concern. This is the "drawing out" process that helps lead to understanding. Jesus modeled this well - that loving others is moving toward the pain, not away.
This is a life-changing equipping opportunity. All leaders are encouraged to come - and bring your spouse!
We desire to support, equip, and resource you as you invest your life into the lives of others. We do this through:
TFL is a class designed to prepare leaders for ministry and is a key component in our leadership development process. I know of no other training that we offer that excels this class in content and personal impact. If you have a sense that God is calling you to discover your personal ministry (Eph. 2:10), this class is your next best step in the preparation process.
TFL is primarily for leaders and potential leaders at Perimeter Church, however, it is open to any church member.
Coaching has become a very effective tool in the business and athletic world. We have introduced a new training called Coaching Foundations for Leaders (aka "CFL"). CFL is a course designed for anyone who wants to learn coaching principles and practices to shepherd others to glorify God. You are welcome to attend if you want to learn about coaching as an informal aspect of your ministry. Some of you want to be prepared for a formal role of coaching and CFL will certify you to do that. This training is fun, interactive and biblical in its approach.
Express Your Faith is a method of effectively sharing your faith developed by Randy Pope, lead teaching pastor of Perimeter Church. You will learn the tools of sharing the Gospel with friends and family in a non-threatening and effective way. Participants find it easy to learn and apply to everyday situations.
