Uniting churches in Atlanta to transform our city
Welcome to Perimeter
We are pleased that you have chosen to visit our web site and we hope you will come and visit us in person as well. As you explore our site you'll notice that we have a lot to offer the families and individuals in our community, including things for children of all ages as well as adults, no matter what their age or stage of life (single, married, divorced, widowed, whatever). Perimeter is a truly a come as you are church. It's a safe place to explore the truths of Christianity and it's a great place to experience growth and community.
Our services feature a blend of traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs, and will often feature drama, personal testimonies, and dance - providing a dynamic and impacting time of worship. We were all created to worship and at Perimeter Church our desire is to help you worship well.

Mentoring Children & Youth
Perimeter Church, along with several other UNITE! churches, partners with local schools to reach a shared goal that every Atlanta area child would graduate from high school. Establishing relationships with public schools provides an abundance of ways for us to serve, positively influence and bless children and their families. The needs are great, and schools want our help!
Perimeter’s current school partners include six elementary schools and one middle school within our 10-City Extend Our Reach Impact region. Our leaders have been trained by a national organization, Kids Hope USA, and in turn train and provide ongoing support and encouragement to volunteer mentors. Each trained mentor engages in a one-on-one relationship with a child at their neighboring school.
NO PARTNERING SCHOOL NEAR YOU? Please contact Tammy Lopez at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn how you can start a mentoring program at the elementary school where you live.
Sharing an hour each week befriending a child, becoming his/her cheerleader, and demonstrating the love of Jesus is an invaluable investment of your time. The love, encouragement and care that you can give may very well be the difference between failure and success!
Please check back to register for one of these trainings.

Classified as Title 1, BLES serves a diverse population of students and their families from communities in and around the City of Berkeley Lake. The Kids Hope program completed this year with 16 mentors, but there continues to be a waiting list of students needing another loving, caring adult in their lives. Chattahoochee Elementary School, located off Albion Farm Road in Duluth, has grown since its 1989 opening to serve nearly 1400 students. Principal Jeff Lee, his faculty and staff are expressly appreciative of the positive impact our first dozen mentors have been having on their students and look forward to another great year through this Perimeter partnership. They believe that every student at Chattahoochee would benefit from a mentor! Located off of Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta, Creek View Elementary School sings praises for our mentor team and the relationships that have aided in notable improvement within the areas of student academic and social/emotional progress this year. Manning Oaks Elementary School is a charter school located in Alpharetta, on Cumming Street. Principal Jennifer Rosenthall, familiar with the Kids Hope mentoring program at Creek View Elementary, reached out to our Perimeter director, Gary Schubert, to inquire about forming a team of mentors for at risk students attending Manning Oaks. Consequently, our newest mentoring program will launch this fall! If you would like to be a part of this inaugural year at Manning Oaks, please contact Gary at email@example.com.
Designated as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2014, Medlock Bridge Elementary School is our closest Kids Hope mentoring program, located within the Medlock Bridge Subdivision in Johns Creek. Principal Matthew Vance is keenly aware of the positive impact made by our mentors in his school and would like to see many more mentors develop relationships with his students. If you have questions or would like to find out how you can become a part of this ministry, please contact Carla Sullivan (firstname.lastname@example.org) OR Martha Griffin (Martha.email@example.com).
Located in Peachtree Corners, Peachtree Elementary School was our very first Kids Hope USA partnership. In recent years, we have partnered with Peachtree Corners Presbyterian Church located a stone’s throw from the school. Together, mentors have positively impacted the lives of many children creating an exemplary, sustaining presence in that school and in the Norcross/Peachtree Corners area. The need for more mentors continues to grow, so if you would like to make a real difference in the life of an at-risk child by spending an hour each week cheering him/her on to do well in school, please contact Mary Lou Heaner - firstname.lastname@example.org.
