Pick Up a bag. Fill it with food.

Take it to your local co-op.

It's October at Perimeter ... and that means our annual fall food drive. But this year we are doing something different ...

This year instead of buying food and bringing it back to church, we are inviting our church family to take their donations to their local co-op anytime during the month of October.

The idea is to be intentional about seeing, engaging and loving the people in your local communities where God has placed you. It’s about asking God to give you a heart to see the people around you so that you can minister and Love Where You Live.

DID YOU KNOW?

1 in 6 children in Gwinnett live in households that have trouble putting food on the table. They may look no different than other children. Child hunger is often invisible. They are hurting just the same.

OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

HOST A FOOD DRIVE ON YOUR STREET,

neighborhood, or workplace to stock the shelves of your local co-op. Our Community Outreach Department can help with flyers and grocery bags. Reach out to Carolynn Miller at carolynnm@perimeter.org or 678.405.2252.

VOLUNTEER AS A FAMILY OR SMALL GROUP AT YOUR LOCAL CO-OP.

There are some great ways for families and Discipleship / Connect groups to serve alongside their co-op.

BE CREATIVE!

Talk with your friends about ideas they have to serve other kids. Perhaps they want to have a birthday party and ask their kids to bring food instead of presents. Or you could organize a class donation drive.
