Did you know it takes nearly 1,400 volunteers during a weekend to support our worship services? That doesn’t even include those that serve on weekdays for other church events and programs. While it sounds like an overwhelming, even daunting, number it’s the very thing that makes Perimeter what it is: home. It’s where life happens through worship, through relationships, through serving one another – in and through our identity in Christ. It’s where we feel cared for, loved, served, and comforted. It’s where we are blessed. And it’s where we can bless others.
To that end, this guide provides a listing of the different opportunities available to serve and bless our church home both during weekend worship and weekdays. You’ll see that there are a wide variety of opportunities to exercise your gifts and talents and to meet your schedule.
Jesus commands us to love one another. What a better place to do that than inside the walls of our church? Join in! Bless our church home. And you’ll be blessed as well. You’ll be glad you did!
Based on 35 years of experience with what we call "Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship" we felt called to address this need. It is our desire to come alongside pastors who desire to be more effective in making mature and equipped followers of Christ in and through the church so that leaders could have kingdom influence where they live, work and play.
We have designed a partnership process where churches can be envisioned and established for a Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship movement to happen.
What do we need?
We need people with all kinds of skills and gifts to make the Pastors and their teams feel welcome and cared for during their stay at Perimeter Church.
