NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL PARENTS
"God took His people in the Old Testament and nurtured them like little children. He provided for all their needs - physical, mental, and spiritual. He protected them from harm, instructed them in truth, disciplined them when necessary, and brought them to a place of maturity. Each of God's covenants represented a new phase in the developing maturity of God's covenant people. Finally, the church reached adulthood in the new covenant of Jesus Christ, the goal of all God's rearing. He strove with them for a long time, bringing them from infancy to maturity. In the new covenant His purpose, which He had from the beginning, was accomplished."
