What Studies Are Available?

"IDOL ADDICTION", BY JULIE SPARKMAN

TUESDAYS, STARTING JAN 8 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM

PERIMETER CHURCH, Conference Room: C21

While we may not bow to golden statues, we are all idolaters. An idol is anything we turn to to make life work apart from God. We are all in need of much more than a little help in overcoming our besetting patterns - we need a life-transforming rescue from the God who longs to give us what will really satisfy. Join us for this nine-week study as we face together our individual idols, as we confront our personal powerlessness to overcome them, and as we discover how the life we are yearning for is right inside the gospel we thought we knew.

"SEAMLESS", BY ANGIE SMITH

Fridays, Starting Jan 11 | 12:30 - 3:00 PM

Perimeter Church, Conference Room: C21

Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Join us for this seven-week session study to experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.

"JONAH, NAVIGATING A LIFE INTERRUPTED", BY PRICILLA SHIRER

TUESDAYS, STARTING JAN 15 | 9:30 - 11:30 AM

PERIMETER CHURCH, UPTOWN AUDITORIUM

Interruptions. They're aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this seven-week session study, Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God's invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.

We also encourage you to consider joining a Women's Discipleship Group!

Engaging the heart, not just the mind
Sometimes people think of "Bible Study" as a purely intellectual exercise. They think that the goal is to examine and debate Scripture just for academic reasons. While some Bible studies may work that way, ours is very different. True, they will stretch your mind, as you consider the profound truths of God. But it is not just intellectual. Our desire is to grasp God's love and rest in it so completely, that our hearts become more surrendered to Him.
