Advent Sermon Series

The word “Advent” is derived from the Latin word adventus, meaning coming–the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event. For Christians, Advent is about the coming or second coming of Christ.

Our 2022 Advent sermon series, Good News of Great Joy, explores the good news and the great joy of the gospel and how we can receive it. The teaching team will present four special messages from the Gospel of Luke in December.

The season culminates in an evening we all look forward to—our elegant Christmas Eve candlelight services on December 24. We hope you will make plans to join us and invite a friend!

CONNECTED CHRISTMAS

A NO-STRESS FAMILY ADVENT EXPERIENCE

by Holly Mackle and Hailey White

Connected Christmas is a refreshing way to celebrate Advent. It’s for families who are weary and worn out from things they must do and simply want to enjoy Jesus and each other other this year with no pressure to perform. It’s not quite a journal and it’s not quite a devotional. It’s a shared family heirloom you create together. This interactive book works well for everyone in the family, ages 2 and older!
