Testimonial

When I stumbled upon the Family Conversation download from March 2022 with Jerry Black and Ron Blue, I was sold on the importance of these conversations.

Because of my situation in having a special needs adult son, being newly divorced, taking care of my sister with early onset dementia, and managing my own estate, I was a bit overwhelmed with the responsibilities and how to go about figuring everything out.

I registered for the next Conversation, When “Good” Plans Go Wrong. What an eye opener! I had good intentions (my good plans) but saw how it could all go wrong if I didn’t get wise counsel and guidance. This kind of ministry is very important to our church family; I’m thankful I found you all!

How to Have A Family Conversation (Oct 2023)

What’s a family conversation and how do you have a good one?

Financial discussions within families need to be handled with clarity, care, and grace. How do you know when you need to have one? And when you do, what does a well-executed conversation look like?

About the Panelists:

Perimeter Estate Planning Director Jerry Black facilitates two important conversations about how to have these important discussions within families. Family and Business Legacy Coach Tom Conway joins a moderated Q&A about why you need to have family conversations and how to best prepare for and hold them. John and Tina Morrow share their personal story of important conversations they have had with their own family.

Honoring Plans for Aging Parents (Mar 2023)

Back by Popular Demand!

As Baby Boomers age, they and their families are faced with many complex decisions—with outcomes that have financial, emotional, spiritual, and relational impacts. Gain a better understanding of at least five important conversations you should have (whether you are the parent or the family member) and steps you should take before a need becomes a crisis.

This night featured a panel of experts in family finances, law, living alternatives, and other important issues who gave practical advice on what conversations to have and when.

When "Good" Plans Go Wrong
