This policy does not apply to information that:
- The Church collects offline or through any other means; or

The Church encourages you to please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. - That you provide to us, which may include personally identifiable information, such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, household relationships, social media accounts and other similar demographic information or any identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information”).
- That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as the small groups you participate in, your membership in Perimeter Church, and Perimeter Church events in which you participate – including those events in which you serve as a volunteer.

The Church collects this information:
- Directly from you when you provide it to the Church, including by sending email(s), completing online requests, forms, or surveys.
- Automatically as you navigate through the Website or use any Mobile Application. (Information that may be collected automatically may include usage details, IP address, and information collected through cookies or other tracking technologies).
The Church may combine the information you submit on the Website or Mobile Applications, with information received from other Perimeter Church sources to provide certain services to you, offer you a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. Examples of the above include, but are not limited to, providing online giving services (through the Church or third-party contractors – which information may or may not be stored by the Church), presenting you with spiritual development opportunities, adding new features, and analyzing the performance of our Website or Mobile Applications. For certain services, we may allow you to opt out of combining such information.

Website and Mobile Application Cookies and Tokens
The technologies the Church uses for automatic data collection may include one or more cookies (or similar tools such as tokens or web beacons) to your computer or mobile device, so that the Church may uniquely identify you, your device, or your browser. (A cookie is simply a tiny text file containing a string of characters placed on the hard drive of your computer). Accepting our cookies allows you to keep your user preferences from session to session. Although most browsers accept cookies by default, you can set your browser to refuse all cookies, or to tell you when you are being sent a cookie. Some of the Website and Mobile Application features and services may not function properly if you have cookies disabled.
When you access and navigate the Website and Mobile Application, the Church may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns including:

- Information about your computer, mobile device, and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, browser type, the device’s unique identifier, mobile network information, and the device’s telephone number.
- The Mobile Application may collect real-time information about the location of your device.
The information the Church collects automatically may include personal information, or the Church may maintain, associate, or combine it with personal information the Church collects in other ways or from third parties to provide you with a better experience, to improve the quality of the Website or Mobile Application and deliver a better and more tailored experience for you, including by enabling the Church to:
- Help you find and connect with Perimeter Church.
- Help you find groups that are tailored for your interests or life stage.

- Track total usage, analyze data, and communicate with you more effectively.
- Speed up your searches.
- Recognize you when you return to the Website or Mobile Application.
Within the Website and Mobile Application, you can make financial donations to Perimeter Church. Because the Church uses third-party services and vendors to process payment information, the Church does not store full credit card numbers or other verification numbers on the Church’s servers at any time.
Third-Party Sites
Some content or applications on the Website or Mobile Application are serviced by third-parties, content providers, and application providers. These other sites may place their own cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information about you. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based advertising or other targeted content.
The Church does not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content from a third-party vendor, we encourage you to reach each social media site’s respective privacy policy for more information or contact the responsible provider directly. You should familiarize yourself with their unique privacy policies, should you choose to visit or interact with their sites.
The Church only keeps one email account per person, and all Perimeter Church messages go to that individual account. If you have multiple email accounts, the Church will only keep the one that you most recently provide to us.
Your email is your username in all Perimeter Church systems, and therefore, cannot be shared with another person.

- To enforce these Terms of Use.
Choices About How the Church Uses and Discloses Your Information
The Church strives to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to the Church. The Church has created mechanisms to provide you with the following controls over your information:
- You may decide not to download the Mobile Application or to delete it.
- You may decline to submit personal information to the Website or Mobile Application for any of the Church’s services, in which case the Church may not be able to provide those services to you or provide those services to you as efficiently as possible. As a visitor to the Website and Mobile Application, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information.
- You may opt out of electronically delivered communications at any time by logging into the Website or Mobile Application and adjusting your user preferences in your account by checking or unchecking options to unsubscribe to a particular service or by sending us an email stating your request to Helpdesk.
- You can choose whether or not to allow the Mobile Application to collect and use real-time information about your device’s location (through the device’s privacy settings). If you block the use of location information, some parts of the Mobile Application may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
- You may opt-out of receiving future communications from the Church by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any e-mail communication you receive from the Church or by contacting the Church at Helpdesk and requesting to be unsubscribed.
- You may also set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
Your general contact information (for example, name, address, and phone number) and other optional information you may choose to provide (for example, email address, photo, etc.) may be shared with Perimeter Church staff and volunteers for internal Perimeter Church purposes. Some of your information (such as small group information, meeting times, committee assignments, etc.) may also be viewable on a limited and restricted basis on the Website and Mobile Application, but you may opt out of sharing information or limit the optional information you share by modifying your profile settings on the Website and Mobile Application.
How is Your Information Protected?
The Church uses appropriate and commercially reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, use, disclosure, or destruction of your data including internal reviews of our data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where personal data is stored by the Church. Unless explicit permission is obtained from you, the Church will limit access to personal information only to those of the Church’s staff, contractors, and agents who need to know that information to operate, develop, improve, or deliver services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
Any payment transactions are encrypted as provided by the Church’s third-party vendors and processors.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where the Church has given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Website or Mobile Application, you are responsible for keeping this password safe and confidential. The Church asks you not to share your password with anyone. The Church urges you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website or Mobile Application. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any Website or Mobile Application user.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although the Church does its best to protect your personal information, the Church cannot and does not guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Website or Mobile Application. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. The Church is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website or Mobile Application.
Accessing And Correcting Your Information
The Church reviews its data collection, storage, and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store, and process the personal information needed to provide or improve the Church’s services. The Church takes reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information processed is accurate, complete, and current, but the Church depends on the users to update or correct personal information whenever necessary.
Users can review and change personal information by logging into the Website or Mobile Application and visiting your member account profile page.
If you delete your User Contributions from the Website or Mobile Application, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or might have been copied or stored by other Website or Mobile Application users.
You may also send the Church an email to Helpdesk to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. When you use any of the Church’s services, the Church makes a good faith effort to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate purposes related to Perimeter Church’s business. The Church asks individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected, or removed before the Church can process such requests, and the Church may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup storage), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case, where the Church provides information access and correction, the Church performs this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort or expense. The procedure to correct or remove your data will vary depending on the requested change. In some cases, the Church cannot delete your personal information except by deleting your user account on the Website or Mobile Application. To request that your account be deleted, please contact Helpdesk.
State Privacy Rights
Individual state consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding the Church’s use of their personal information. Perimeter Church is a Georgia-based non-profit entity. Residents of other states may have state-specific privacy rights and you are encouraged to check with your specific state governing body regarding privacy rights in your state.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the European Union
The GDPR was enacted on April 14, 2016 and went into effect on May 25, 2018. Under the GDPR, all European citizens have specific data protection rights as identified by https://www.eugdpr.org/. The Church has reviewed the relevant regulations and the Church is in compliance with them.
Changes to this Website Privacy Policy
The Church will post any changes made to this policy on this page on the Website and on the Mobile Application. If we make material changes as to how the Church treats user personal information, the Church will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your user account or through a notice on the home page for the Website and the Mobile Application. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page of the Privacy Policy portion of the Website and Mobile Application. You are responsible for ensuring the Church has an up-to-date, active, and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting the Website and Mobile Application, and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
Enforcement
The Church will periodically review its compliance with this Privacy Policy. When the Church receives a formal written complaint regarding privacy issues, it is the Church’s policy to respond regarding these concerns. The Church will cooperate with appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any issues that cannot be resolved between the Church and the individual.
Please contact Helpdesk to submit a written complaint or report a compliance issue.
