Holiday Serve Guide at Perimeter Church

Merry Christmas Perimeter Family,

I am so thankful for your faithful presence in the community where God has placed you. It is always a good time to serve our neighbors, but Christmas is a felt reminder that Jesus Himself moved into the neighborhood when He was born and began His mission here on earth.

There are countless opportunities in this serve guide that will provide a way for you to share the joy of Christmas and bring hope to many of our friends who are hopeless. My desire is that you will discover an opportunity that uses your God-given gifts for His glory. While you are looking through the guide, please be praying for our nonprofits and the people they serve.

In Your City This Christmas Season

Giving Tree

Our Giving Tree will be in the Atrium lobby from November 26 – December 17. Stop by and select a gift tag off the tree to fulfill a wish list request from our nonprofit partners serving children and families in need.

Gift Cards

These allow our nonprofits to meet the specific needs of the children and families they serve. Please drop off gift cards from Walmart, Target, and Kroger at the Giving Tree or at the Community Outreach office.

Monetary Donations

Donations can be made to our Holiday Assistance Fund in any amount. A $50 donation helps a parent give their child a special Christmas. Give online or drop donations on Sundays at the Giving Tree or during the week at the Community Outreach office.

Your generous donations will be used to meet the greatest needs identified by our nonprofits. Often, these needs are not the easiest to share on our Giving Tree or in our Serving Guide. Know that your gift will be used to display the love and hope of our God the great provider.

Holiday Serve Day

Little Hands, Big Hearts

Saturday, December 2
9:00 - 11:00 am
in the Ministry Center

Join Community Outreach for an incredibly special day of serving opportunities especially prepared for boys and girls ages 12 and younger. Projects will benefit our non-profit partners Boy with a Ball and The Salvation Army. We will be putting together goodie bags, food boxes and candy treats. This will be a wonderful time of fellowship with other moms and dads while serving alongside your children. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

This event is full.

Community Outreach Shoppers

Do you like shopping and finding the best deals around town? Consider being a shopper this Holiday season or all year around. We need help shopping for our non- profit partners, serve days, adopt-a-family programs and special events. We will provide you with shopping lists, budgets, instructions, and how to get reimbursed.

Special Event Volunteers

If you enjoy lending a helping hand, Community Outreach is always looking for extra volunteers for special events. Volunteer to help with set up, assistance with running events, and clean up. These opportunities are available throughout the year.

Giving Tree Delivery Drivers

Volunteers are needed to pick up toys, gift cards, food, and other items donated through the Holiday Giving Tree and distribute them to our non-profit partners. Directions and location will be supplied on delivery day. Drivers are needed on December 4, 11, and 18.

Pray For Our Nonprofit Partners

Stop by one of our nonprofits or a school and pray for them in your car. Pray for their staff, volunteers, and the clients they serve. This can be done at any time and is a great opportunity for families with children of all ages.
