Dear Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the summer. As many of you know, I am a Spanish teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy so I have a couple of months off this summer. I have been given the opportunity to use my teaching skills in a new way this summer. On July 20, 2022, I will be travelling with a group from Perimeter Church to Guatemala to teach English in a school called Mana de Vida. Mana de Vida is a non profit school which provides education, nutrition and other resources to impoverished children and their families.
I value your prayers for this trip. The majority of Guatemalans consider themselves Christians because of their cultural heritage but few are actual believers. Please pray that God would equip me for His good work and that I will be able to clearly share my faith. Jesus tells us in John 4:35 "Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white for harvest."
I , also, am in need of financial support. The cost for me to go is $1900. Please prayerfully consider how God might use you in this journey to Guatamala.
