Dear Friends,

I am so excited to share that I will be going to Warsaw, Poland from June 14 - 26 to assist our Polish partner churches with their effort to help the Ukrainian refugees.  In a recent report by the mayor of Warsaw, that city alone received about 300,000 Ukrainian refugees since the outset of the war, 120,000 of which are children.  We feel compelled to go assist our Polish partners who have been stretching their limits to help the Ukrainians.

I will travel in a team of 11, and we will deliver Ukraine-bound suitcases filled with medical supplies.  Our day-to-day tasks may change as needs arise, but the current plan is to prepare and serve meals for 200-300 people each day, organize and distribute clothes and hygiene supplies, and facilitate activities for Ukrainian children.  We also plan to help repair and furnish a 110-room hotel, which was abandoned for 2 years, so that Ukrainian refugees can be housed there.

I invite you to join me in this effort to bring help and hope to the Ukrainian refugees through prayer and/or financial support.  Given the magnitude and gravity of the current situation, the help we offer will seem insignificant.  However, we believe that God can make a greater and eternal impact in the hearts of the people we encounter.  So, please pray that God would heal, restore, and encourage the distraught Ukrainian hearts through us and through the message of the cross.
