Hello,

Welcome to update #2 of my newsletter for my trip to Warsaw, Poland. I am traveling as part of an incredible Journey team. We are assisting our Polish partner Church with Ukrainian refugee assistance doing the following.

  • Demolition of an office turned into sleeping area to create a Ukrainian child day care room, painting, building childcare equipment and outfitting the room.
  • Work in the kitchen, prepare and serve food.
  • Welcome and help Ukrainian refugees with food and with paperwork preparation.
  • Clean rooms as needed.
  • Help at a distribution center where refugees can get baby food, clothes and other items.

The Picture shows the following: Top and lower left side shows the Ukrainian Consulate which is about 100ft from the Church. The second picture from left on the bottom is the Church, SCh Puławska https://schpulawska.pl, The third picture from left on the bottom is the our Journey Team as we were about to head to the Church Sunday morning before service, the top right picture is the start of Demolition day1, The forth picture from left on the bottom during demolition, The bottomm right picture is the end of demolition day1 (tired but happy!).

Why am I doing this? As many of you know I work for a great global company where I have awareness of, and plan for, potential events that could disrupt our business and when those events occur, I help to manage them. I've been working with our people in Poland and Romania since 2 weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine. During all this time I kept feeling that there was more that I should be doing to help this terrible situation.

As part of my job duties, it became necessary to travel to Poland and Romania and again I felt moved and prayed on how to help the people of Ukraine and for clear guidance, so when at church service 2 days later it was announced that the church was putting together several immediate trips that exactly coincided with my work travel to Poland, where we would be working with our Polish partners to help Ukrainin refugee's, well I could take the hint and recognize an answer to prayer. Honestly I was just thinking I would just make a donation to a fund however God always has plans that are bigger than our own.

As my trip progresses, I will periodically send out more updates like this one on how and what we are doing in Warsaw.

This letter will be going both to my friends, coworkers and those interested in how this trip goes as well as to my sponsors, please do not feel as though you are being asked to be a sponsor however if you feel moved then all help is appreciated.

For this mission, I have already raised all of my needed funds, so while it is not needed if you would like to join me in this opportunity to bless and be blessed, use the link below to donate online, or if that does not work you can visit www.perimeter.org/global, Click on Journeys, scroll down to Poland: June 14-26, 2022,  select this journey and my name from the drop-down boxes. Donations are tax-deductible and must be made payable to Perimeter Church, who is training and sending the team and who requests that this be above your regular tithe and offerings to your local church. As I have already raise my 100%, the additional funds will be allocated to the Ukraine Refugee fund.

Thank for your prayers, and your financial support if you choose to give.
