Hello friends!
I'll be going to Poland as part of a team to provide support during the Ukrainian Refugee Crisis. This opportunity comes through our church, and the kids and I are grateful to be joining my husband on this trip.
As you probably know, the majority of Ukrainians that fled during the invasion went into Poland. While the Poles have welcomed them with open arms, it is now over 100 days since the invasion, and everyone has grown weary of living in a crisis situation. Though on the outside it seems as if life continues as usual, our partners in Poland have shared the underlying tension and fatigue that has settled in.
While we are there, we hope to provide both our Polish partners and the displaced Ukrainians with some relief and encouragement.
At the very least, I'd like to ask for you to pray for us. I pray not only for physical stamina but also for wisdom and grace as I will interact with a variety of individuals whose hearts and stories I do not yet know.
Thank you for joining me in this journey. I will update this newsletter over the coming weeks as we travel and debrief from our trip.
