I wanted to write a brief letter to all of you, letting you know I will travel to Honduras this July 8-15th. I will be
going with a team of people from my church, New City Church. Our team will give support to the local area,
near La Ceiba, in planting new churches. This will be my first missions trip and I am excited to see how the
Lord will use me down there.

We will partner with a Mission to the World team, who help local pastors and their churches get up and
running with a solid, Christ centered foundation. There are a couple of healthcare facilities that were built
and supported by the team, as well as a center for boys, who need a Christ centered focus in their lives,
and are suffering from troubled family lives. There is a plan to build a seminary and to extend church planting
in other surrounding cities.

Our family has been part of the original launch team, of New City Church, and I’m excited at our church’s
growth to be able to go on this journey. I would humbly ask for two things:

First, if you would please pray for me as I travel down with our team. Specifically, that God would use me and
the gifts He has given me to be of help. Also, for our team’s ability to be a blessing and good witnesses of
Christ’s love for the local population.

Second, I would ask you to pray about supporting my journey. We have been asked to raise 1,800 per person to
cover air fare and costs when we are in Honduras. If after you pray about this, you feel led to support me than
