Hi there!

This summer I have the amazing opportunity of joining a 30 person team of high school students and leaders to South Africa on Perimeter Church's annual High School Go Journey! Due to COVID the past couple of years, it has been stopped, but is back up and running again! The lives of those who go on this trip are changed so much because of the way the Lord opens the students' eyes, and lets them see the world the way He does. The testimonies of those who have already gone on these trips are life-changing, and I hope to have the same experience. However, the most valuable part of this trip is to spread the Gospel and the Word of the Lord to others.

While on the ground, we will be serving alongside City Hope Church as they serve Impact Africa and Philile in Johannesburg. Impact Africa serves the local community by teaching them English and Life Skills while providing a school for their Children during the week. All of this is done through relationship and aims to bring the gospel to them where they are at.  This is Impact Africa’s 19th year serving this community. Philile is a school for inner city Children who come from a struggling economic class. We will play games with them, sing for them, and bring much joy to their school day. We will also get to interact with the Youth Ministry of City Hope Church called City Youth. We will attend their ministry, build relationships with their students and worship the Lord together.

For the mission, my total cost is $3250.00, and those participating are individually responsible for raising support. None of this is possible without the grace of the Lord, and Jesus guiding and helping myself and the other students involved. The things most needed include financial assistance, but also prayer. As we prepare to make this journey, we would like to be covered in prayer, and continue to look to the Lord to help us through.
