 Hello everyone,

My name is Annika Stefanut and this summer, from July 21 - August 1, I will be going on a trip to Johannesburg, South Africa with a group of 30 people from my church. While my team and I are there, we will be working with a group of children through Impact Africa and Philile. Philile is a school for children who come from disadvantaged economic backgrounds. Impact Africa is an organization that has been serving Johannesburg’s community for 19 years by helping kids learn how to read and write, teaching them the English language, and developing other life skills. While we’re there, we will be working with a group of children, as well as working alongside the Youth Ministry of City Hope Church. Our team will be organizing activities, playing games, singing with the kids, and hopefully bringing them joy in a culturally-appropriate way.

My goal while I’m there is to give the children a chance to be kids and show them the love that God has shown me. Along with ministering to their educational and physical needs, I want to show them hope and a promise that I believe can carry them through the hardest times in their life, as it has for me. This promise is that there is a God who loves us so much that he sacrificed his Son, in order to have a relationship with us. Through this promise, I have felt real comfort and joy, and if I can, I long to share these feelings with the kids I’ll be working with.

Preparing for this trip is not going to be easy, and I won’t be able to do it alone. I will personally need to raise a total of $3,250 and am asking if you’d be willing to support me in this cause. All donations are tax-deductible if paid through Perimeter Church, and no donation is too small. Any amount of extra money that I raise will be distributed among my team and after that sent to other Mission trips that need funding.

Thank you for reading this letter and if you have any questions about what I’m doing or my motives while being in South Africa, I encourage you to come ask me your questions. This trip will not be possible without the help and prayers that I receive from you all, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Donations are tax-deductible and must be made payable to Perimeter Church, who is training and sending the team and who requests that this be above your regular tithe and offerings to your local church. If I raise more than 100%, the additional funds will be allocated to the team fund, and, after that, used at the discretion of the Global Outreach Ministry Team.
