Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and learn a little bit about the amazing opportunity I have been gifted with to serve the people of South Africa.

This summer I have been gifted the opportunity to serve on a missions trip with my church's high school ministry to serve in South Africa. Serving people is a passion of mine and it brings me great joy to serve others. When I first heard about the Go Journey to South Africa I was intrigued but also intimidated. I explored it a little but I strongly felt God calling me to go on this trip and use the opportunity I was faced with to serve others and fulfill The Great Commission our Lord has called us to do. Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. 

While on the ground, we will be serving alongside Impact Africa and Phile in Johannesburg. We will serve and help people where they are, all while sharing the great news of the gospel and praying with and for them. I hope to create many new friendships with the students in South Africa.

This trip however is not possible without the guidance and provision of God and help from supporters. Most importantly we need prayer. So please pray for me and the rest of the team that we would do the Lord's work all for His glory, and for me specifically that I would not feel intimidated by the thought of leaving the country. Financial support is also necessary for the trip to make it off the ground.  Each person going on the trip is tasked with raising $3,250.00, which is a lot but nothing is impossible with God. If you are able to support me financially that would be so helpful if not please remember to pray as this is the most important thing.

I am so excited to see how God will use me to grow his kingdom and what He will teach me on this trip! Thank you all so so much for your prayers and support!
