Hi there!

My name is Reuben Varner, I am so excited, that this summer I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to South Africa this summer! The trip is from July 21st to August 1st, 2023.

While in South Africa we will serve alongside City Hope Church as they serve Impact Africa and Philile in Johannesburg.  Impact Africa serves the local community by teaching them English and Life Skills while providing a school for the children during the week.  All of this is done through relationships and helps to bring the gospel to them where they are at. This is Impact Africa's 19th year serving this community.  Philile is a school for innercity children who come from a struggling economic class.  We will play games with them, sing with them, and bring much joy to their school day.  We will also get to interact with the Youth Ministry of City Hope Church, called City Youth.  We will attend their ministry, build relationships with their students, and worship the Lord together.

To make the trip possible the most important is prayer and additionally is financial need. We don't want to move forward going on this mission unless we are absolutely covered in prayer!
