Hello friend!

As you may already know, I have recently been blessed with the incredible privilege to travel across the world to South Africa with 30 other Perimeter students and staff for a mission trip! This is a very exciting opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and into a time of growing and giving.

Originally, I was not sure if the Lord was calling me to take this trip. After many prayers and thoughtful conversations, I signed up for this journey. Disappointment was inevitable when I found out I was on the waitlist, and I thought that the Lord had closed that door. However, two weeks ago I received news that the opportunity was back available again. I am beyond thankful that this was part of God's plan for me and am truly excited to experience new areas of the world and get to know and support God’s people.

This mission trip will take place between July 21st- August 1st where we will travel to the area of Johannesburg. Here, we will partner alongside City Hope Church and their youth ministry, City Yth, as they serve Impact Africa. Here, we will be teaching the local community English and life skills while also serving in a school called Phile. At the school, we will play games with the children, sing with them, and bring joy into their school day. This trip is a time where we will share the gospel, worship the Lord as a community of God’s children, and build relationships with those that come from a struggling economic class.

I am enthusiastic to serve on this journey and would love your support as I prepare both spiritually and financially. As part of preparations, each student is tasked with raising $3250, which will cover everything from airfare to food to lodging. • Pray that I would be equipped with confidence and boldness in my faith as I share my testimony.
