Hello team!

We hope that everyone is doing well and staying healthy with these weather changes.

The Barrancos are 10 days away from from our trip. The countdown begins!

The prayer team of our church blessed us last night with a prayer time. Our team was joined by the Tanzania and India teams that will be departing soon as well. It was amazing to be in a room with about 40 other people willing to give of their time and talents to travel abroad for the purpose of serving others. Thank you for your prayers as well!

We are getting very excited and nervous! A fun adventure we were able to have last weekend helped us get the kids prepared. Delta does a special needs tour once a month to help families navigate the airport and make them feel more comfortable with air travel. We were each given a ticket for the day, get processed through security, board a plane, recieve snacks and drinks, and the kids were able to sit in the cockpit and push buttons and pull levers. It was an incrdible experience! The kids are excited!

Our areas of service have been asssigned. Jacob and Matt will be on the playground monitoring safety and facilitating games. Jakota will be participating with the youth sports. Ava and I will be with the music and arts program. Perfect fit for each of us!
