Hello family and friends,
The Barrancos are going to Ireland! Yes, all 5 of us!
We will be going with Perimeter Church in late October/early November. Our team of 11 will be teaming up with a family that is living and ministering in the community of Ballymum, which is just outside of Dublin. This community is one of the most disadvantaged communities in Ireland due to a collapsed housing project. The purpose of the trip is to assist with a week long camp for kids. The camp includes sports, dance, arts, and crafts.
Jacob, Jakota, and Ava are super excited to play and hang out with kids. The boys will get to be leaders and Ava will be participating with other kids her age. Matt and I are looking forward to watching them interact and bring some light to kiddos that have a difficult life. Many have single parents, witnessed alcoholism/drug abuse, and/or financial crisis.
We are asking you to join us in prayer and/or financial support. The cost of the trip is $2700 each X 5 = $13,500. Donations are tax-deductible and must be made payable to Perimeter Church, who is training and sending the team and who requests that this be above your regular tithe and offerings to your local church. If we raise more than 100%, the additional funds will be allocated to the team fund, and, after that, used at the discretion of the Global Outreach Ministry Team.
