Dear family and friends,

Ever since I went to Poland, I have been eager to continue to serve in any way I can. God has given me another opprotunity to travel Guatemala, where I will be working at a medical center this year. We will help children while they are waiting for their turn to see a doctor. We will teach them worship dances, play with them, and talk to them about why we love and trust Jesus.

While I do feel greatly blessed, I also feel extreamly nervous--nervous about all the unknowns I will experience, nervous about the people I will meet. Most of all, I am nervous about how God will use me. My deepest desire as a kid was to go and help others. I still have that desire and it always makes me happy whenever I can encourage someone. I pray that I will be able to have an open heart and open hands as God guides me through this.
