Dear Friends and Family,
When Covid-19 rocked our world three years ago, we all put most of life on hold. Hannah and I had to put on hold our first mission trip together. Last fall, I sensed the Lord laying mission trip on my heart again. I started praying for an opportunity that we could all go as a family. In the following weeks, we learned about an upcoming medical mission trip to Guatemala in June 10-17, 2023.
Our team consists of many youth (11-18yr olds) who are part of KidsQuest worship team at Perimeter Church and their siblings/parents. We are partnering with Medical Missions Ministry in Guatemala to provide medical care to the needy. We will serve as we share the gospel to patients and family members who are in the waiting area, fill out prescription medicine, provide childcare, lead worship, and pray with and over them all. As I think about this trip, I am growing in anticipation to witness people hearing about Jesus for the first time and coming to trust Him as their Lord and Savior. I am also increasingly looking forward to how God would use this trip to shape us as a family; to expand our scope and lift the horizon of our understanding of, love for and trust in Him.
I want to ask you to partner with me in this journey. Please pray for Jin, Andrew(14), Hannah(14) and myself, as well as our team. We are asking God to align our hearts with His. Please also pray for those whom we will serve in Guatemala. Please prayerfully consider supporting financially, but only give as you feel led. I am so grateful for your partnership and support.
