Departure and Return Times

Check-in begins at 11:30 am on Friday, January 15. We’ll leave at 12:15 pm. Students are expected to have already eaten or bring a packed lunch. We will arrive back at Perimeter on Monday, January 18, around 5 pm. The church will be locked for the holiday and we cannot enter to grab anything left behind. Please plan accordingly.

  • Note: Plan to bring approximately $80 – $100 extra for meals not included above and optional additional funds for snacks and souvenirs.

Students may bring cell phones or other electronic devices; however, we encourage students to limit their use and stay engaged with the group and activities throughout the trip. There will be very little designated time for electronics outside of bus travel.

Students are responsible for keeping track of their own devices and using them appropriately. All devices will be collected by chaperones at bedtime and returned in the morning so everyone can get a good night’s sleep. Parents are encouraged to set app or screen-time limits as appropriate before the trip.

Please note: Perimeter Church, Universal Studios, and Floridays Resort are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. We strongly recommend leaving expensive or unnecessary electronics and other items of significant value at home.

A deposit of $150 is due immediately upon registering online, and the balance is due by January 1, 2027. Payments can be made through your account online until the balance is paid. If you need to apply for a scholarship, see below.

Need financial help to attend? A limited number of scholarships are available. Scholarship requests must be submitted by November 15 in order to be considered. We’ll contact you by November 20. Complete the Financial Assistance Form.

Registration can be cancelled any time before registration closes for a full refund. After registration closes, refunds will be provided if we can fill the cancelled student’s spot.

If your student has any dietary restrictions, please plan to send them with supplementary food items.

Sunday, January 17

  • 8:30 am:  Group breakfast in Meeting Room
  • 9:00 am: Announcements & Worship/Meeting Room

  • Lunch and Dinner in the park (one meal at student’s expense)

Monday, January 18

  • 7:30 am: Breakfast in hotel rooms
  • 8:00 am: Load bus and depart hotel
  • 12:00 pm: Lunch on road (student’s expense)
  • 5:00 pm: Estimated arrival at Perimeter. (Students will call if time will be different.)

  • Money (approx. $30) for 2 fast food meals on the road (Friday dinner and Monday lunch)
  • Money (approx. $40) for 2 meals at the park (Saturday dinner & Sunday lunch or dinner)
  • Money for snacks and souvenirs (optional)
  • Pillow and travel blanket (optional for bus ride)
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Toiletries
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Warm jacket, Rain jacket/poncho and pants for potential cold weather and/or rain
  • Swimsuit/Swim trunks
  • Small bag/backpack to carry around the park

  • Students’ names must be on Middle School roster by the deadline (or January 5 if on the waiting list). This will serve as the form for a pre-arranged absence with the school for the half day. Nothing else is needed.
  • Students must be in school on Friday, January 15, and will be dismissed from classes at the end of fourth period.
  • Students and parents are responsible for checking with each teacher ahead of time about any work or tests affected by the half-day absence, including when to turn in work and how to make up missed notes or tests.
  • Luggage can be dropped in the rock wall pit at the Bricks before school.
  • Book bags can be left in their locker, collected at check-in, or brought on the trip.
  • Perimeter Church will be locked on Monday, so anything left behind on Friday, January 15 will not be accessible until Tuesday, January 19.
