Evelyn LeeAnn Forester
May 9, 2007 — January 20, 2025
Obituary
With both great joy and deep sadness, Daniel and Kim Forester announce the passing of their beautiful daughter, Evelyn, who finished the race and ran into the arms of Jesus on January 20, 2025.
Born on May 9, 2007, Evelyn LeeAnn Forester was broken in body, but full in spirit and magnificent to all who knew and loved her. Her subtle yet sparkly personality was on full display while lounging on the beach, listening to music, or shopping with her family. She possessed a magnetic graciousness tempered through the patience developed as a proud big sister to three younger brothers. She was an exceptional listener and was happiest in the warm presence of her family.
Evelyn’s grace and gentleness were a light to all who knew her, and her profound strength and endurance were a testament to God’s presence in her life. As the writer of Hebrews exhorts, Evelyn ran the difficult race set before her with perseverance and a joy that can only be found in Jesus Christ. To all who witnessed, her life was undoubtedly used by God to reflect His sovereignty, His grace, and the promise that He is making all things new.
Evelyn is survived by her parents, Daniel and Kim Forester of Johns Creek, Georgia; brothers, Owen (15), Ian (11), and Ben (7); maternal grandfather, Michael M. Wylie of Roswell, Georgia; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Claudia Forester of Decatur, Georgia; paternal great-grandmother, Jean Forester of Decatur, Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her devoted nurse of 12 years, Heather Redden of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
