Obituary
Greer Pelletier, a beloved wife, mother, Gigi, sister, and friend, peacefully entered into the presence of Jesus on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Accent Care in Cumming, Georgia with her family by her side.
Born on March 4, 1955, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Jasper Vernon and Kathleen Perry Smith, she leaves behind a legacy of love and faith to be cherished by her family and friends.
Her unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life, as she was an active and dedicated member of Perimeter Church since 1987. Greer found solace and strength in her Bible study groups, forming lasting bonds with her fellow church members over the years.
Above all, Greer’s greatest joy came from being a loving wife to her husband, Dan, for 48 years, and a devoted mother to her daughters, Claire Weaver and husband John, Dani Taylor and husband Chris, Laura Smith and husband Frankie, Beth Peele and husband Matt, and Rachel Kupperbusch and husband Zak, along with her son Daniel Pelletier and wife Jenna. Her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren, Caroline, Savannah, Emily, Alli, Rebecca, Gracie, Perry, Catherine, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Smith, Christopher, Mary Margaret, Reese, Jules, Harper, and Bennett, each one holding a special place within her. Also surviving Greer is her beloved brother Perry Lamar Smith; nephew, Glenn Smith and wife Lindsey; great-nephews and niece, Mason Smith, Harper Smith, and Lucas Smith.
The memory of Greer’s warm smile and kind heart will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
As we come together to celebrate the life of Greer Pelletier, let us remember the grace, faith, and love she shared with us all. May her spirit continue to guide and comfort us in the days ahead.
